Large dark, glossy burgundy-green leaves form a dense mat with pretty spires of violet-blue flowers in Spring. Easy to grow and maintain these are perfect for growing under larger trees and shrubs, in between pavers or in rockeries. Excellent weed suppressant as once established not much can grow through the tightly woven mat of leaves.

In our experience these do well in both sun and shady areas but it is recommended to offer them some shade from blistering Summer sun.
