Shipping

Orders are despatched the week following from when they are placed. 

Eg if you place an order on a Tuesday, your plants will be despatched the following week. Delivery may take up to 10 working days. Please be patient, all good things take time. 

Our plants are sent out wrapped in damp newspaper (no pots) We highly recommend that you plant them as soon as possible after arrival to ensure best results.

 

Whilst we do our absolute best to get your plants safely to you ultimately It is a risky business and we will not be held responsible for what happens during transit. Please be aware of the risks undertaken when having plants couriered to you. 

For any issues regarding your parcels or the condition your plants have arrived in please direct your emails to the helpful team at support@courierit.co.nz. 

We use booking agent CourierIt to send out our plants, once the parcels have been collected from us they will begin to send you email notifications keeping you up to date with how your parcel(s) are tracking. Sometimes these emails can end up in junk mail so please check in there just in case. 

All parcels are sent under an ATL which is an ‘Authority to leave’ you will not be required to sign for your parcel. If you wish to leave specific delivery instructions to be relayed to the courier driver please leave them in the comments of your order. 

Freight charges are calculated on volume, in general the more plants you order the higher the freight charge but spend $130 or more on plants and we will ship your plants for free...yes FREE!* Incredible value. There is no charge extra for rural addresses.
Free shipping is automatically applied at the checkout once your order hits the minimum threshold of $130.
 
*Applicable to North Island addresses only- no offshore islands and we do not offer any shipping options to the South Island.
 

Local delivery 

For those who are within a 30km radius of our nursery you will now have the option of choosing local delivery at the check out. If you don’t see this option pop up your address is outside of the delivery area however we encourage you to email us and double check. Standard courier rates are still available for you to choose from we are just adding another option to the mix for locals. 

 

The local delivery fee is set at a flat rate of $10 for any number of plants. ​

No delivery fee on orders $130 and over. 

To best utilise our time and fuel we will do deliveries on the weekend and it may take up 14 days for your plants to be delivered by us.

If you are local please take advantage of this special offering, we are excited to get on the road and deliver the plants direct to you!

North Island ONLY 
1-6 plants $10     
7-12 plants $16 
13 + plants $22*

*This is a flat rate for any order that contains over 12 plants but hasn't met the minimum spend for free shipping.

 

Pick ups 
Pick up onsite is free (for any number of plants). Orders may take up to two full businesses day to fulfil. You will be sent an email notification once your plants are ready to be collected.

 

We highly recommend that you collect your order within 3 days of receiving the email notification as we do not have the time to watch over plants that are packed and ready to be collected. We do not assume any responsibility for ensuring your plants are in optimum condition if your order isn't collected within this timeframe.*

Please note there are some stairs to navigate to reach the collection point, please email ahead of time if you may need some help.

*If some reason you are unable to collect please let us know via email. We are busy but not monsters and will always do what needs doing if we know- communication is key!
